Our April meeting will be held at 1800 this Wednesday the 23rd at the Auburn Safety Complex, 55 Eaton Hill Road, where a brief overview will be provided of the onsite amateur radio equipment.
Ample parking is available in the front of the building. Entering the building, the Training Room is to the left. “Auburn EOC” will be monitoring 146.535 (our primary simplex tactical frequency) should anyone need assistance locating the facility.
We will be wrapping up our tactical message training with more hands-on radio practice using the SITREPs we will be employing this Saturday for the Mini-SET. Those equipped are encouraged to bring their HT, fldigi-programmed laptop/tablet and appropriate sound card device. Audio-coupling will also be an option.
